There is a backflow check valve inside the water connection on the coach. Easy to replace for around $15 to $25 in parts depending on where you go. I picked one up on Amazon for mine as it is starting to leak for around $15.

On mine, I removed 3 screws holding in the filler, and was able to reach up behind it and unscrew it from the water line. I found some pics of a 2000, and some of a 2003, and the water inlet is located on the outside rear of the coach. I would open the compartment with the water valves, remove the cover the valves are mounted to. Once you get that off, you should be able to remove the 3 screws holding the inlet backflow valve that is mounted to the exterior where the hose screws onto. Once you have it unscrewed fro the body, you should be able to get to the backside of the inlet to unscrew it from the pipe. You should be able to get a good idea of how to get it out from looking at these. RV Water Inlets
