No. Made in Japan where the standards are much higher, even than ours.

My Father-in-Law still thinks Toyotas and Honda's are just cheap junk, too. That's because most things from Japan back in the '50's and '60's were cheap junk! Times have changed, but some people never will.

Chinese products are everywhere, and just like American products, some of them are good and some are not. Do a little research and it's easy to find the the brands with good solid reputations.

We recently bought our '05 motorhome, and since it had four original Michelin tires on the rear, I didn't even want to drive it home on them. The best price I could find in the city where I bout the MH was on Yokohama tires. I did a search and found no negatives on the Yokohama's so went with them. I know it's not much, but 1000 or so miles and all is well. They were less than half of the price of Michelins, and I have a friend that has had two virtually new Michelins blow out.

The thing about tires is you only know if they are good after you've had them quite a while. Life's a gamble.

I think you'll find that's trailer tires made in China, not necessarily truck tires.
