What Crazy Stuff Have You Found in Your RV?
So you buy a used RV (or maybe a new one) and over time you manage to peek and poke into every little nook and cranny. Then, most unexpectedly, you find something crazy or bizarre; what's that doing here?!
Please share -- pictures welcome -- keep it clean.
I'll start. When the motor croaked on the bedroom slide on our Monaco motorhome, some disassembly was required in order to effect repairs. That's when we found poor Kermit:
Kermit was a curious frog or toad (no pun intended) that somehow managed to find his way into the Roadmaster chassis and go exploring, only to meet an untimely end, trapped in the bowels of the bedroom slide assembly, where he eventually joined the choir invisible.
Our plan is to have Kermit's remains framed in a shadowbox and give him a resting place of honor in our motorhome.

Crazy Stuff
I'm richer by 1 3/8 inch wrench after taking the outside radio out to access some wiring. It's still shiny too!
The crazy thing about our rig is it has 5, yes FIVE different fuse/breaker locations (That I have found so far)

Happened to our relation in their first MH. Every time they went around a corner, "clink". When they'd hit a bump just right, "clinky-clink". This went on for a few months. Drove them bonkers! They finally took it in and when they tore into it to find this elusive noise, buried in its depths, was a small, empty, pint bottle of Southern Comfort. We surmised this was a Friday built MH.

Hearing aid batteries...about 10 of them-not so unusual.
Rolling papers-more unusual.
Complete set of factory wiring schematics!-Extraordinary!
More rolling papers inside the schematics.
Now maybe I have found the path to a higher understanding of Monaco wiring!
(I am not condoning it, but I do live in Colorado, and I am only suggesting it is plausible)

On the back wall side of the rear slide out , apparently when the previous owner cleaned out their stuff, they left about a dozen little orange ear plugs,,, yes ear wax included.
Went to put a CD in and it wouldn't go in, pushed the eject button out came a CD.
It was actually a great song list CD !

Brand new Jayco Greyhawk came with an industrial carpet knife under a drawer in the vanity sink. Still using it!

I found a work glove under a panel below the cabinet work when I was running a new control wire for the inverter remote panel.

Not on a RV but on a brand new boat we chartered in the BVIs. Kept hearing things thudding around in the ceiling of the main cabin. Drove me crazy. Since we had been fixing things on this unit since we shoved off, I decided to tackle this. Took down the ceiling light fixtures and found a bottle of Heinz ketchup and jar of mustard.
No logical explanation how they got up there. Kept them and turned them into the management company when we turned the boat in.
We just ordered a Super Class C - hope we don't find Kermit in it.

wood shavings, metal shavings, broken screws, whole screws, sawdust. Apparently Forest River does not require the assembly line workers to clean up their mess. Just assemble and ship. Perhaps the QA is in name only.
