Yeah, it could create air movement, but without a picture of a vacuum gauge, I ain't buyin' it. How may MHs do you see that look like Airstreams from not opening a door when closing a slide.

twisting the frame by improper leveling on winnebagos can loosen the glued in windshields.
retracting the slides without a window or door open on winnebagos can pressurize the moho enough to pop a glued in windshield out, especially if it is already loose from improper leveling.
the windshields have a lot of area.
each of my windshields are about 36'' by 40''. that is about 1440 square inches. even a small amount of pressure (psi) inside the moho is multiplied by the square inches in this area to obtain a considerable force pushing on the windshields. .1 psi would exert about 144 pounds of pressure on each windshield.
following MY checklist, i level first, open a window, extend the slide or slides.
when we are ready to break camp, i open a window, retract the slides, retract the jacks.
to keep voltage to the hwh hydraulic pump as high as possible, my engine is idling, i install a temporary jumper between the house and chassis batteries, or i have my schumacher 20 amp battery charger hooked up to the chassis battery for both of these operations.

My assumption is the slides are not equally weighted side to side and they feel it could effect level or the unequal weight side to side if not level could have a negative impact on the frame. Have no idea if either assumption is correct. Just trying to guess at their logic as it seems the coach should be level before moving the slides for multiple reasons

My Sea Breeze manual sez to level first.

My Dodge Ram's windshield is also glued in and if I don't have a window cracked, I have to shut the door with more authority. It's never popped a windshield out and there is far less volume for the air pressure to fill. If I'm driving `65+ and switch from outside air to max(inside) I can feel the pressure change in my ear, yet the windshield doesn't come loose. I also find it hard to believe that a MH is that well sealed as to pop a windshield or seal with a slow moving slide. Just my opinion, do what feels right.

I level the coach, put the slides out, and recheck for level. If you are not putting jack pads out when in grass or gravel the level might change after the slides are put out.

I'll keep that in mind as I always park on sand. Sometimes soft.

It appears the only way to resolve this question is to rewire our coaches so that leveling and slides occur simultaneously.

If the level has changed, then yes I would relevel with the slides out. It is unusual to have the level change and on a rare ocassion I did have to relevel. Normally with a hard surface (concrete, asphalt) it has not been a problem, but it never hurts to be sure.

A lot of air does come in an open window as the slide moves out, but it is not going to create any substantial vacuum inside if you don't have a window open. You could only wish that your RV was that airtight! There is enough room around the slide itself as it moves (you can see daylight) to avoid blowing out anything or stressing the motor.
