If I could not bath everyday I would die skipping one day after surgery was tough.

I prefer the shower in the MH but whether or not I use it depends on where we are & how long we'll be out before dumping.
I've seen some very nice clean showers during our travels and some pretty gross ones too. I think the nicest was at Meteor Crater RV Park in AZ. Private rooms with shower, sink & toilet and spotless! I took a shower there even though we had full hookups. Crowded campgrounds on a Sat. night...no way. I'll use our shower, baby wipes or stay dirty before showering in a toxic waste zone.

I tried bathing in the sink and let me tell you it was not fun. I weigh 250 and when I raised my leg it got hooked behind my head and I was thrashing around until I looked up and realized the blind on the widow was not closed and all the neighbors were standing there laughing. Just kidding!
We always use our own facilities. I worked in camps over the years and shared as many showers as I will ever have to.

I've been RVing since 2007 and I've never so much as been in a camp ground bathroom, much less taken a shower there. I'll keep taking my showers in my coach, with the aqua-hot, I've got an endless supply of hot water and I don't have to lug stuff to the shower.
For those who don't care to take a daily shower please try and stay down wind

We shower every night in the comfort of our own coach, boondocking or hooked up. That's one of the perks of owning a coach, never step foot in a public shower again.

Pretty much the same with us.
Many campground showers are plain gross, and I don't usually go in the bathrooms of campgrounds that are under 4 star rated.
As MandG-fun says- thats the point of having your own stuff.
Thing is we spent lots of time in tents with 5 gallon jugs. before camper/ trailers and motorhomes and had a ball. We know how and when to conserve water and when a sink shower will work and when we need a full standing shower.
Even a navy shower in the RV is luxurious compared to actually roughing it.

We used the CG shower on our maiden voyage as hubby discovered a leak in the water system. While there we did pee in our own toilet with soilds at CG bathroom. Now that hubby knows how to empty tanks, as soon as we have leak resolved, we'll use our own shower. For he first trip, it was a great place for the celli to travel.

My own RV shower every time, full hook ups or boondocking. The large shower was one of the things that made us chose our floor plan.
When boondocking I wet, soap, rinse turning off the water between steps. When we have full hook ups I just shower normally. I just can't see anything desirable about using the CG shower.

I use RV shower; DS (17) uses CG. He can NOT take a Navy shower. Can NOT. If I have FHUs it's better but he still wants to take a 30-minute shower.
So..... I send him off to the CG showers. I don't care if they're gross or not. He can make a choice whether to do a Navy shower in privacy/cleanliness or a 40-minute hot shower somewhere else, perhaps with other ppl.

back in the seventies, i took a 5 year old travel trailer in trade for a motorhome. it still had the stickers inside the shower and toilet. none of the owners could get thru the narrow door of the bathroom.

Between the wife and I showering every day, her washing her hair every other day, washing dishes once a day, we have gone 7 days on a 65 gallon gray tank without it being full.
