Well... I would think that if you're in your motor home, you had better use the shower to bathe....might be a little difficult in the kitchen sink.
I think you're referring to whether or not people use their mh's shower or use the park showers......then again, maybe not.

We kind of think using the park showers are similar to sleeping in someone elses bed (like motels) so we use the RV shower. When we have guests they tend to use the RV park so they can take longer showers without running out of hot water.

We spend a fair lump of money paying for RV bathroom facilities that are generally larger and better appointed than many or most park facilities so why would I go to the inconvenience of traipsing out in all kinds of weather for absolutely zero benefit.
Still, I know of people who have on-board showers that are used for storage, toilets that are only peed in and then only in dire emergencies and kitchen stoves that are never used to cook anything unless there is a gale blowing outside - and I wonder if they realise they are in an RV and not the tent they used to have.

Showers
Always use my MH shower. If I'm "unhooked" (boondocking) it's E.P.O.'s (uhm....essential parts only ) to save water.

With CG sewer hookups - the RV. Without hookups in a CG - CG showers. Without CG - gym, truck stop, or other as available.

We spent a bunch of $$$$$ to have the convenience of a full bath in the RV and we use it as such.

You spend all this money on a Class A so you can take it all with you, why wouldn't you want to use it?

When picking a new coach the shower size and location was important just as as other areas within the coach. I would only use a CG shower under dire circumstance. Do not like to sleep or bath with strangers, that's why I have a coach instead of staying in motels. Do you really think they always change the sheets after every guest. I had the misfortune of travelling in my job for many years, and checked into some quality name motels to only find some with dirty sheets. If they will not always change the sheets then how much attention did the baths receive.

The full 3 piece bath is one of the reasons for the RV we picked. Otherwise, those goofy all in one wet toilet rooms would be fine for everyone...not us.

When we first got the RV we used the campground showers. As time as passed I've found it's easier to hook up the water and sewer and take a shower in the RV.. more so with the boys. Even without hook ups we'll do the same.

We ALWAYS use the shower in the motorhome. Fortunately, we can go 9 or 10 days without having to dump gray water as long as we don't use the onboard washer, but I would drag the blue boy to the dump station every day if I had to to avoid using campground showers.
