I'm currently looking into buying another coach. The DW and I have found a 2010 Americana w/ 400hp ISL Cummins, 44K miles and looks to be in great condition. Can anyone offer any input into the quality of this coach? Thanks in advance

Just for fun I tried to lookup a 2010 Americana MH. Found a Americana site and they sell TT and 5th wheels. Are you looking at a American Coach MH...D

American is the top of the line for Fleetwood. It is made in a separate facility along with the Revolution. I would check to see what support you would get from Fleetwood if you bought. I am referring to the bankrupcy and the new owner.

What ever it is to me it has a lot of miles. Americana maybe made in Mexico American parts and assembled in Mexico. American coach/ Fleetwood came out of bankruptcy fine a few did and probably as many didn't .

I know what an American Coach is. The OP said he is looking at a Americana, that company as far as I can tell only makes 5th wheels.
In my post I ask the OP to clarify what coach he was asking about..Peace D

I was going on information I had received from a broker when I posted. I have found that the coach is a Newmar 2010. Not sure of the model but I have a picture of the coach and a list of features but the broker did not give me the model of the coach. Perhaps someone here can correctly identify this one. Your input, as always, is appreciated.

Moshe; As this is supposedy a Newmar, you might want to post the question on the Newmar forum, along with photos. I personally have not seen Newmars with an all white interior though. (But that does not mean they don't exist). 007, the moderator on that forum will know.

Looks like an Essex or King Aire to me, but the layout of the interior doesn't jibe with the windows in the exterior photo. The window decorations on the right of the photo aren't correct for the windows on the outside.

Is this an online broker? What is the asking price? There are alot of scams out there. If the the price on what looks to be a 1mil. coach is too good to be true it probably is. Use caution as you proceed. If the broker is slow to give you info that might be a sign. If you can't tour the coach without wiring a deposit, that's a problem..Good Luck d

Something's not right here.
That's not a Newmar interior, nor is it the interior of the coach pictured.

Someone in the last few days posted that you can do a reverse search of photos, that is, you send the photo in question to the site, and it searchs for the same photo on the web. (kinda like reverse phone #) I believe the posting said that Google is the one that now has the capability. If you do such a search, and these photos show up some place else than the broker, then it is probably a scam. The fact the "broker" gave you a non-existant motorhome manufacturer, then came back with Newmar, without the Newmar brand, raises flags. (thats akin to someone wanting to sell you a car, and telling you it is a General Motors). 44,000 miles on a 2010 takes the flag higher. If it is a scam, they came up with that milage, because that is a number that might be reasonable on a car or pickup. These things point to someone who is unknowledgable on RV's, used some photo's available on the web, and came up with a manufacturer the same way.

It doesn't even look like the inside and outside picture windows match.

I have a friend with an Essex and it doesn't look anything like those pics - inside or out. Too many discrepancies in those photos, as the others have already noted. And it is inconceivable the broker can't even get the brand and model name right. The deal stinks - I'd run away!
