What events are there where an RV is the way to go?

Went to an air show a while back and there was a bunch of RVs is a distant section of the parking lot. I could see how a motor home would be useful at such an event for a nap or snack.

Are there any non-RV event or activities where your motorhome greatly enhances the experience of the event?

James

We love taking our Class A to the kids' swim meets. We either use them as our "hotel" at away meets and the drive to the natatorium (swimming pool facility) where the event is, or we drive them right up to the natatorium if there is room in the parking lot. Most of the time there isn't room in the parking lot though... :(

I find mine very useful when going to the in-laws for holiday meetings. When I have had enough of the "family" I head out to the motorhome in the backyard for a long deserved brake. The peacefulness & a good JD make the trip tolerable. Just sayin.

Traveling and not staying in hotels, visiting the kids, taking our grandkids to Disney World, taking our grandkids to the Texas coast, visiting friends, relatives, staying in our MH when our house is full of guest, and the list goes on... It is one item we normally do NOT leave home without!

[QUOTE=rgvtexan;1807551 deer hunting.[/QUOTE]

I'm going to use mine for deer hunting this year.

When my daughter was playing softball, they had tournaments that were sometimes "a little ways away". So, we'd take the motorhome, have cookouts for the team, while waiting from 10 in the mornign til who knows when in the evening.

We also use it for bugging out during tornado season.

State and many county fairs/festivals. We used to show livestock and the are great places for the kids to cool off, etc.

We use our motorhome for Camping in the infield of NASCAR races. Most tracks have family camping areas and more partying camping areas, so this is fun for the whole family.

We use ours to go to any number music and festival type events where local accommodations are rare/overpriced/unavailable. Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is a good example. There are also lots of big music events that have low entry fees, but no place to stay and are not in striking range of a one-day road trip.
