Hi, the vehicle being "towed" behind a MH is referred to as a Toad.

It is a little green or brown amphibian. Generally hunted by little boys to scare little girls.

Oh wait you were asking about the kind we RV'ers use. A vehicle pulled behind a MH.

Toads are brown, frogs, (arboreal and aquatic) are predominately green in North America.

In the RV world, toad is colloquial for a towed vehicle.

A toad is a frog and a amphibian.

It is also a RV term shortened from "towed"...someone was trying to be cute.

I prefer the nautical lingo...call it a "dinghy". Of course then someone might thing you are referring to your spouse.

It is an acronym for a towed vehicle. E.g., a vehicle that is towed (TOAD) by an RV.

Or, a vehicle that is pushing the RV. Oops! NOT!

Don't believe those other comics. Hee hee!

A "toad" is very similar to an amusement park ride.
