We have the Wineguard crank-up. It was an inexpensive add-on when we ordered our coach and we decided at the last minute to get it. We have Direct TV and carry our receiver with us. Admittedly this is very new to us, but we've had no difficulty acquiring the satellite when we get to the campground. The good news is that it takes a few minutes, discouraging the auto-on TV mode that I'm afraid we'd fall into otherwise.

You might want to check back with KVH. I did just this past week and they replaced my receiver to fix this problem. The details are on their website.

I would not recommend getting the KVH L2 dish.
We had the KVH L2 in motion dish, for DirecTV, installed about 3 months ago. It worked great until the last week of June. DirecTV supposedly sent out new software that accidentally took the low speed data cord out of the system. Neither KVH or DirecTV has done anything to resolve the problem yet. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

To those of you that have a King Dome and Dish Network. Does your system auto switch between the 110 and 119 satellites or do you have to get up and push a button like I do?
