The answers so far reflect the bigger and better solutions. A good thing to look at is MPG for the future. If I were buying again I would look at models that get at least 15 MPG. Remember the $4 per gallon days? There is a trend to offer new models that are smaller not larger.

Bigger slides=bigger problems. More slides=more problems.

I really like opposing slides. When open, I have 12 feet across.

I like the living room forward then the kitchen. Kitchen forward places guest sitting area far away from the driver.

Rear bath across the back makes for a much larger bathroom area to shower and change.

Full side slides open up the coach for the biggest area, but I'm concerned about structural problems and slide movement problems over time.

We like a booth better than table chairs.

Newer coach wide 32" or 33" exit doors are very nice.

Passthrough storage a must

I keep a 7 foot step ladder in it.

Motorhomes with teeny tiny bicycle tires just do not look right. Huge massive tires look best. Maybe it's a bus thing

Split windshields are less expensive to fix. One full-view windshield can cost $2500-3500. But.. I sure like the view

I hadn't heard of that mfr before. Those look nice. I wish they offered regular size queen beds (or even kings), but, due to the both side slides, maybe there isn't the room for such.

I wonder how narrow the passageway is when both slides are in?

Just checked the Rexhall site-- I kinda sorta like the 2 full slides, but kinda sorta not. Some other rigs with multi-slides I'm sure have the same issue I don't like:

hardly any space in the kitchen, and what if my fat-butted self needs to stop and use the bathroom in the back, there's gonna be a whole lotta shinny'in goin' on just to get back there! Our Allegro only has one large single slide, but when it's in, it's no different than any no-slide motorhome. If I get someplace and the slide don't work, we can still use the thing.

I'm waiting for them to clear all the stuff off the roof so I can get the Heli-Pad installed.

You have to see the Rexhalls to really appreciate them. They had 2 on display at the Workhorse Rally in Bakersfield last Spring. If we were in the market for a new RV, Rexhall would be at the top of our list.

The Heli-Pad would be great, cause then we could get RV techs to fly in to fix all the new broken inovations.

I like the mid-entry models. Beaver made one on the Santiam years ago and I really liked the floorplan. My sister has a 39' Fleetwood with the mid-entry. They are much nicer than coming in right at the passenger seat. Our door isn't even under the awning. It has it's own small awning that just doesn't do the job. I hate it!

I think the motorhome with two bathrooms was a waste of space and weight. Carpet isn't very practical but does make it seem warmer in winter.

I can't imagine what new inovative things they will come up with next.

I am an old cynic. I worked for the title and I exercise it plenty. There is not much of the new stuff that is "must have" for me. I would prefer if the manufacturers would refine and improve what they have that people like. Front kitchens are OK, but then you have two good seats up front that are isolated from the main living area. Multiple TV's all over the place are no asset. I prefer the mid door. I prefer fixed basement storage rather than slide out compartments. I would rather not have a slide-out in the patio area on the curb side. We have stayed in too many sites where the outside space would be too small. For $100k and up, I want a full dimension bed. I haven't had a great loaf of bread out of my convection oven yet, but the old gas oven underneath made a perfect one every time.

But wait. My coach meets all my preferences (except oven). Well, I guess I don't need to lust for the next best thing.

Oh how I agree about the convection oven. Whoever thought that was a good idea to put one in and not put in a gas oven, was nuts!!. I hate my convection oven. The fan is so noisy and since we boondock a lot, it is sooooo inconvenient. I didn't even think about not having a gas oven when we bought this motorhome. It would have been a deal breaker if I had been thinking. I was blinded with the glitz.

I've been thinking about taking out two drawers and putting a gas oven in. I still might do it.
