Hi Dennis, An RV'ing acquaintance of ours has a 1999 Georgie Boy Pursuit and likes it very much. My personal preference would be the Ford chassis as I feel it's a bit heavier duty chassis than the GM P30 chassis. The downside is the Ford chassis used 16" wheels untill 1999 then changed to the 19.5 wheels. The P30 uses the 19.5 wheels.

Best of luck with your choice.

Jim

Unless your 1997 options offer you an enormous price-advantage, settling for less than the '99+ Ford V-10 chassis doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Between those two I'd definitely go for the Ford 460. Best big-block engine (past or present) Ford ever put into a motorhome.
