What's this mean on my dash?

I have a Mercedes Sprinter Van, 2016, I have approximately 5k miles in it.. today this message appeared. I thought maybe it had to do with DEF, but, that's full, in three days it went up from 8d to 10d. I've looked in the Sprinter manual but I couldn't find anything that explains it. Any info would help, thanks in advance!

From my reading, it appears you are 10 days past some type of service. It doesn't matter when you bought it, but rather the date they fired up the engine and started putting miles on it. What is the build date of the unit?

Had the same thing when we bought our sprinter B+.
RV dealer had no idea what that was.
Had trouble fining the code on the net and finally came to the conclusion that it was counting days past service recommendation.

To check, I kept track of the code and noticed it went up by one every day.
Since the unit only had 600 miles on it looked like it was a number of miles or time service reminder.

Found on the net how to reset the service reminder and all was well.

Sorry, I forgot the procedure to reset the system.

Yup - # of days past "A" service (see the little wrench?). Just because you bought it in June, the chassis (the Mercedes part) was new before that, as it went to the factory to have the camper part built. Don't bother with the RV dealer where you bought it - you need a Mercedes dealer to do the service (or other reputable service center). Even though you only have 5000 miles on it, the oil has been sitting in the engine for almost a year if not longer. To maintain your warranty you need to have it changed. Yes, even though they say you can go 20,000 miles between oil changes, they also say "or annually", whichever comes 1st. And expect to pay dearly for the A-level service - like $800 or so to do everything that needs to be done annually. 8^)

Do the coach builders not provide the Mercedes owner manual to the end buyer? It's all pretty clearly laid out there.

My Itasca Navion came with a Mercedes manual, but I also downloaded a digital copy from Mercedes. You have the wrench symbol also showing with the 10 days remaining alert. I no longer have the Navion so I can't look it up for you, but it is a maintenance issue.
