I just bought a new Gulf Stream Sun Voyoger After buying it I noticed there is no protection on the engine from water or anything else on the road that could fly up into the engine compartment. Is this standard or a design flaw?

Donald, welcome to irv2
Like yours, mine is the same way. Its a good thing it allows all the heat around your manifolds to disapate alot quicker so you will not have fried spark plug cables like some people have had with theres.
The water from road ways will not hold around engine because of the heat from it.
You didn't put in your sig-profile what chassis and model MH you have if you would it will make it alot easier for everyone to help answer your questions in the future. "007"

Thank you 007 I have had two other motor homes I they both had shields inside the wheels. It makes sense as to why they don't have them.
Thanks
Donald
