When does it stop!!!

I'm talking about the excitement of getting a new to you rig, and every weekend you can't wait to get in and drive it, and get to the camp ground! My wife and I just love looking for a place to go just to stay in the motor home. We have 4 -4 day trips planned for the next 6 weeks, we can't wait to retire in a few years and go 6 to 8 weeks at a time. our longest trips now are about 2 weeks. Regards

I hope it never stops. (-:

I recently retired and DW does so in a couple few months. We have several extended trips planned for next year. Chomping at the bit to go!

I'm disabled, DH retired

We took our first trip over July 4 and our 2nd this past weekend. Can't wait to do it again. A couple of our bucket list items are the ABQ balloon fiesta and Route 66

It doesn't have to. Pick a direction, since you are in California, head East until you can drive no more. Then head North until the land runs out. Then make a left and come across the top until you hit water, then turn left and head home. Next time you head out just change the interstate you are on and do it all again, remember never the same roads each time you do it and eventually you will hit 50% of what this Great Nation has to offer.
Just do it until you are satisfied or too old to do it any more.
But remember, enjoy the trip take your time, meet new people and spend the kids inheritance

Well, you're certainly in a magnificent part of the country...one heck of a backyard ya have there. We crisscrossed CA and hit every NP you guys have. We hope to return someday to fill in the gaps we missed in '11.

It's a feeling I would not want to stop. Your bucket list of places to visit could end up being pages long. I know mine is!

So far, it doesn't! This year we are sidelined due to DH's unexpected health issues. I go over to the coach about once a month to get it running, move it a little, exercise the genny etc. makes me sad. BUT treatment should end in 3 weeks and hopefully we can hit the road for at least a few weeks soon thereafter. Next year "Alaska" can't wait.
