Where are you and your motorhome at this July 4th weekend!

My little wife and I hooked on to my smoker and traveled to Dakota Landing, South Dakota (fishing village northwest of Pierre on the Missouri). Met other family members for a good ole July 4th weekend. Today I cooked 7 racks of ribs, 5 pounds of chicken, a few fresh Walleye and a mess of corn on the cob. Love these weekends!!

We try to avoid holiday weekends. The traffic and crazies in campgrounds are too much for us.

However, we are camping in the Motorhome this weekend. But just on the rear of our own property. Moved into the coach while fumigating the studs and stucco. Die bugs, die!

Parked in storage and me at work. I'll wait until the 4th is over and then go RV'g. It's not quite as busy then, less noise and people so I can get some real relaxing in.

Bloomer Wi, at Marsh-Miller Lake. Fishing with friends, riding ATV's and watching fireworks at Birch Point Resort. We have 3/4 of an acre on the lake and use our motorhome as a cabin. We travel a lot, but like using this as a base camp in the summer.

Parked in the driveway, packing up to roll after the holiday weekend. Heading east to visit friends for a few days. "On the road again"

parked in the drive also.. Don't like holiday traffic.. we are prepping for a trip in 8 days to Kansas to provide meals for close friend and husband.. She is having cancer surgery the day we arrive and we don't want them to have to worry about getting anything done for a few days after she gets home.. They are full time RVer's.

Staying home today and a BBQ this afternoon. Although did break my no travel to drive from Olympia to Tacoma Yesterday so My wife/Grandma could get her grand daughter fix and let the parents get to a Mariners game. SURPRISE SURPRIZE the traffic was better than I have seen in years WOW and I did see a bunch of RVs on the road.

Parked on private lot in SE MN. You could not give me a totally free site on a holiday weekend.
