where do I list my motorhome???

I'm wanting to sell our motorhome ourselves and upgrade to another one. where have you listed yours and got results (at least inquiries)? we listed one about 2 yrs ago and didn't get any hits on the 3 (paid to list) sites. we did sell it, but not from any of the sites we paid a fee to.

I sold my 33 foot Safari on Craigs list several months ago. Worked for me - you might try advertising with them - it is free.

When we were shopping for a used RV a year and half ago, I searched mainly on Craigslist and eBay.

I have bought and sold on eBay. I also search RVT.com and RVtraderonline.com.

I listed our motorhome on Craigslist Wausau and then Minneapolis, and IRV2 classifieds. No inquiries over a two month period. Most interest from the For Sale sign in the window of MH while parked at home.

Got frustrated and decided to consign with local dealer. If it doesn't sell we pick it up and take it to Florida.

We bought ours in Aug. of '07, found on Craigslist in MD, less than 1 hour away. Wouldn't sell it for anything, we're addicted to RVing.

Craigslist and the Classified section on this site.

You will get some scam artist responding, so just be sure to use the BS filter and if it looks fishy and smells fishy, don't bother to respond.

Last year when I decided to sell my 95 Southwind, I placed a notice on the wall at my local mechanic's office. He had also done minor work off and on over a few years so he knew the condition. I sold it within a week. Depending on where you are located, this might be an option.

Didn't see anyone suggest RVSearch.com that has a link on Good Sam. I've not used them and have no experience with buying thru that site. Just wondering if anyone has bought a mh advertised on that site? What was that experience like?

In today's economy, sales are hit or miss.
