I found the white "coiled" hose to be the handiest to use and store. I carry two 25 footers and they pretty well handle every situation I have been in. I remember paying about $15.00 a piece for them and that was 5 years ago.

I make my own hoses using the braided clear plastic hose that you can find at most hardware stores. The clear braided plastic hose comes in various diameters I prefer to use the 5/8" or the 3/4". You can also find plastic male and female ends plus plastic quick connects of various types made by Gardena. This way you can make hoses of various lengths, I have several in 3ft, 5ft, 6ft. and 8ft. lengths and can mix them so that I only have the proper length from the faucet to the motorhome.
