DP with air brakes, so as long as the engine is running I have air. I have an air hose that plugs into the system and can reach any/all of my tires. Sure makes it nice.

I do
I've carried some sort of compressor for years. Purchasing our current RV made it necessary to upgrade to a Husky 150psi model.

I have a 110v tankless compressor, purchased for about $80 from Costco that I keep in the bay. It will reach 110psi so I can use it for tires, but it can be easily used for grandkids toys. It is smaller than a tank unit. I wanted 110v rather than 12v because my experience is that they work faster and quieter. Guess quiet is not really an issue as I will start the generator if needed. Anyway, just responding to your post.
Happy Trails.

But not if your air tops out at 125 psi and your tires take 120 psi. It just doesn't work.
Besides I'd rather run a 1½ hp electric pump than a 435 HP diesel pump in a campground.

We carry a DeVilbiss ProAir II 1.5hp 3gal 125psi 110vac compressor in our bay, comes in real handy. Also carry an CP air impact wrench.

This is what I was thinking about in general. Similar thoughts on AC unit too. My sidebar issue is whether the compressor can be regulated for "light" duty such as being used to blow out the water system during winterization without using too much pressure.

i carry the sears unit listed below. got it last year on Black friday for about $70. it has 150lbs and you can also adjust the air pressure, so i can also use the lower pressure to blow out the lines in the winter. light weight and makes it easier then running the DP while airing the tires.

Home Depot had the small Porter Cable pancake 150 psi compressor on sale for $50. Then gave me $50 off for opening another account. Free is good and it works very well, better than my big Craftsman in the garage.

Not pushing a specific model per se. Here is a full time RVer's review of the sears model:
I bought this compressor for a specific use. I am a full time RV'er and wanted a small portable compressor that was capable of topping off my large RV tires. After a few months of use, this compressor has met all of my expectations. Not only can it top off my RV tires to the required 120PSI it also comfortably lives in one of my storage bays. Do not expect this compressor to air up large RV tires instantly it still takes a few minutes per tire to go from 100 PSI to 120PSI. However, it works much better than the on-board air compressor that came with my motorhome. That compressor would not push air above 100 PSI. I now feel more confident and safer knowing my tires are at the proper inflation pressure. Another benefit is that airing up my tires is no longer an onerous chore. Although I cannot vouch for its reliability, since I have only had it a few months, I do expect this compressor to last since it is not in constant use. Barring any reliability issues, I would recommend this product to any RV'er looking for a small powerful air compressor that does not take up a lot of room and is cost effective at less than one hundred dollars.
That pretty much sums up what I was wondering if ya'll added a tool like this to your rigs. THANKS for the responses so far.

Another vote for the Sears 1.5. I did get rid of the air hose that came with it and now use a good quality 50 ft. hose. This unit replaced a 40 lb. pancake...much easier to store and tote around. Bob
