So far 4 years, never had a dead battery. I can store it for months and it starts right up. I don't use it every day so the four years might not mean a lot. I do know that before the Optima I had to charge my batteries once a month. There are also different Optima batteries for different purposes, so you want to make sure you pick the right one.

This is at least $70 cheaper per battery than I've seen at several other places
