We bought this 2011 Ventana in January and have been pleased so far. One small problem though. When it rains, the rain runs down the driver's window on the outside and runs into the window groove on the inside of the window. There're weep holes but they don't drain the water out fast enough and it spills over and dribbles down beside the dash. A friend mentioned that the Newmar they used to own did the same thing. What is the fix for this, please?

Make the weep holes larger...use care, slow and steady does the job.

Or it could be if you buy a MH named Ventana you are asking for trouble.

After all Ventana means window in english.

Hey Jillie! I have been following your comments on the Newmar 3434 and am wondering if you and you hubby are having second thoughts about your purchase. Please advise whether you would do it again or if you would turn to another unit. Thanx!

I would definitely do it again and I'm sure hubby would agree with me on that. The problems we've had with this unit are small matters that can be easily corrected and/or have been corrected either by us or by the dealer. Not like the last coach - on our first trip out, the excess wiring harness fell out of the rear of the coach, got wrapped around the drive shaft, and shredded. And that was just the beginning of a long list of nightmare issues that I'm hoping to some day forget.
