Window shade

I have a Daman Astoria equipped with the MCD Inovations American Duo day/night shade system> It is a power shade with switch control.
The day shade has reset itself to only retract half way.
the manual talks about a learning key which I do not have.
Any suggestions on how to reset the shade to retract completely?

The learning key is just a momentary push button switch. On mine MCD left the switch in place. There are two female spade lugs on the learning wire ends that fit on the two switch lugs.
If the switch is not there you can improvise something I am sure.

If your key/ignition is on, the shade is programmed to not drop below 3/4 or so from the top so as to prevent you from being blinded when driving.

The learning keys are merely a button that shorts those two wires together.. you can accomplish the same thing with a paper clip. Do you have the programming instructions?
