We just got a new Class C and bought a windshield cover for the outside. My neighbor wants to get one for his Class A Winnebago and says Camping World doesn't carry one. Can anyone give me info on where he can buy one?

Thanks

Gary as usual has some GREAT advice...

I met the owner of MCD at the Tampa Show and am making preliminary arrangements to stop at their factory in Texas in the spring...

With the new coach they're wanting to do the install at their facility...

We went with screens from Prompt RV Sunscreen because these were the only screens we could find that did not require drilling holes to install snaps to retain the screens. There may be others that don't need holes, but we are unaware of them. The Prompt RV Sunscreens install with suction cups and/or rubber straps. Also, if you are tall enough (I am not and usually need a one-step stool) they can be installed from the ground.

Bob,
When you go to MCD, do not pull into their parking lot. We were their in April/May of 06 and there is no place to turn around. For me, I could unhook and manuver accordingly. For you, it might be a romp through the field next to their facility. Make sure they know what you are arriving in/with and get some advice as to what to do. I was impressed with your backing skills, but it would take the 18 wheeler rodeo champ to get out of their parking lot.

I will also indorse the Prompt RV Sunscreen. After initial set up adjustments they install in minutes no reaching for snaps, drilling, etc.

Bob, let me know when you will be coming to McKinney this spring, as I live here and would like to meet you. MCD is about a mile from my home. Glenn Norman - 972-542-9696

I would say AMEN on the Prompt screens. We have had them for our front and side windows for four years and love them.

The "BEST" RV sun screens are Prompt RV Sunscreens. Call Bill at Prompt and tell him you know Mike from Brooksville. Bill was right in front of me with his display and I'm sure that he will be just as nice to you as he was to us.

He was a big help when I had to pack up and pull out when my wife took sick. She's all better now but then he was a big help.

IF you are attending the FMCA Convention in Perry, GA in March, he will be there.

Ask him for the "iRV2 Special".

Does Prompt have the inside screens? I think I am more interested on the inside screens.
Bob, are you doing the inside or outside screens ... and why are you getting the ones you plan on getting?

My current MH came with the sunscreens. I think if I were going to buy an accessory for the MH that is one that is well worth the money they cost. I could not believe the heat that they keep out of the coach.
