I know that the 2007 Safari Simba is prone to windshield problems like leaks and cracking because I have one.

Are there any reports of other coaches having the same problems? I am looking to trade mine in and don't want to buy another coach with the same problems.

If you want to get the windshield replaced, I can give you a good referral. I just got mine replaced and they did a great job. They're called Nomad Glass. Their phone # is (800) 808-9762. I'm almost positive they do nationwide service....

Too late, it is scheduled to be replaced tomorrow morning. Thanks anyway.

I wish that I knew what other brands, models and years have a constant windshield problem. I am getting my coach fixed up (windshield, two awnings and minor paint touch-up) so that I can trade it and hopefully get something that does not have this problem. I was contacted by the former owner of my coach and he had gone through 3 windshields in 12,000 miles. My insurance company is paying for this one, but I'll bet they would stop paying if it got to be a regular event. The windshield failed in the first 200 miles that we put on the coach. The awnings are being replaced because of damage during a windstorm. They were retracted and secured while the MH was parked in outdoor storage, but the wind got so strong and lasted so long that it just kept beating the awnings until they unlocked and opened just far enough to get caught by enough wind to mangle them. When the Good Sam Road Service came to the MH storage lot. He looked at the coach and said, "are you keeping it?" I said, "I know, the window is ready to fall out, but the problem is with the awnings." He then was able to hand roll the large one up and secure it to the coach so that it can be driven for repairs. The small awning just fell apart, mechanism and all. I was very impressed with the service. Unfortunately, I only have the road service and not the warranty service with them, so the labor was $170.00. If I had both it would have been done at no cost. The actual repairs are covered by State Farm.
