Our new windshields are being installed today (actually, as I am writing this). I have the installers using a new gasket (factory Gulfstream) as well since both are '98 vintage.

It appears at present that the mfr. or insurance rep. didn't send a new locking strip with the gasket so for today, they will have to install the old strip and replace it when the new one arrives (since they apparently do NOT have it locally... ).

Frustrating, but it shouldn't change the adhesion to the gasket or windshield frame.

I'll let you all know how it comes out when they are finished.
