and the Winnebago owners forum. I do not have a ceiling fan so cannot help but I am sure some of our other forum folks will respond with suggestions.

It is always helpful to include some details about your rig in your signature...year, model, engine, etc.

Jake,

There is not much to go wrong with a fan. check the power to the fixture first, and if that is not it, take the fan apart. There are a few connections under the mounting hood that may have wiggled loose from the wire nuts. As a last case senario the windings on the armature inside may have went bad, but I doubt it. Try it and let us know what happens.

If you pull the two speed switch out for enought to check the power to the switch. If you got power there then flip the switch on and check if you get power there. If you don't have power to the switch check breaker. Those switches do go bad. This will give you the starting point. If all is good at the switch then go to the fan and with fan switch on check power to the fan. If it has power, then it might be time to trade your fan in.

If it is a reversible fantastic fan check the local fuse on the control faceplate. If fan direction is reversed with it on this fuse will blow before the power supply fuse.

How do you pull the switch out from the wall to check the wires? I was trying to do that the other day to check a rocker switch connection and I was not able to figure out how to get the switch away from the wall. There are no visible screws I could find.

A better debug would be to start at the fan. Pull the fan down to see if there is power at the fan source. Check the switch operation at this point.

If no power, then go to the switch next to debug. Or check the breaker/fuse to see if there is power from the source.

Start with the simple and move towards the complex.

My fan operates on 12v. Did you check all the fuses? I think there is also a switch on the fan that changes the direction, up or down. Try working the switch up and down to work the contacts.

My Fantastic fan also does not work. Just noticed it today and have not had a chance to troubleshoot it.

Just wondering, in addition to the prior advice on this site, what about the push button switch that activates when the plastic cover is raised. Do those switches tend to be bullet proof or problematic?
