Winshield leak

THis weekend we were washing the beast in preparation for the red max pro thing. Curiously enough, the windshield started leaking. Water was
dripping down the inside of the windshield in 2 diff places.

We just bought this home, I inspected the inside carefully for leaks. I took down the top inside trim along the windshield, not any evidence of any water damage. Finally I went outside. The top of the windshield has a vinyl or rubber retainer molding. Just above it all long the top of the windshield is a kind of drip rail. It looks to be sealed to the retainer molding by some kind of black putty. About 2/3 rds of it has split apart leaving a slight gap above the retainer molding.

Does anyone know what this putty like black stuff is, and where can I get more?

2000 Holiday Rambler, Endeavour.

Thanks in advance

It is probably, or should be, poly urethane sealant. Van be found at hardware and home improvement stores.
