Had hydraulic levelers on last coach (Bigfoots) and have electric levelers on present coach (Atwood) and always have jacks down when coach is sitting, whether in CG or storage. Hasn't caused any damage in any weather (they are under the coach).
I guess - to each his own.

I have my coach stored on concrete in an enclosed building and i leave mine down on this coach. This one has the electric jacks. The old one had hydraulic and i didn't leave them down. I love the electric jacks better because there are no hoses to break or pump to add oil.

I attended an HWH seminar at the Winnebago GNR last year and the rep said that the jacks should be down for storage. He said no ifs, ands, or buts; they should be down. I don't know if he is right but that is what he said. He also said don't lube the surfaces.
