Wow, good info. Especially for our northern RVers. Wonder what the trucking industry is going to do about that issue for the long haul guys that travel North and East regularly?

Does anyone know of an anti-gel and/or anti-wax additive that claims to be effective with ULSD?

I do recall an article that I read somewhere prior to the introduction of the ULSD product. The article indicated that some of the manufactures were experimenting with fuel line heaters prevent any gel issues with the new fuel. Not sure what ever became of that idea though.

I've been using the stanadyne treatment so far, it says it's for ULSD. I haven't hit any real cold weather yet, and I don't expect to either

A number of additive manufacturers claim that their products are ULSD compatible. I know that Pri-D and Stanadyne are. What I don't know is whether or not these products are "effective" as an anti-gelling agent in ULSD rather than just "compatible". I would think that if they aren't now, they will be pretty quick otherwise there'd be no reason to buy those products now that ULSD is pretty much universal.
