Normally lows occur for only a few hours around daybreak. Highs in the 50's offset them.

Here in Michigan we already have freeze warnings for the next couple nights. 30 at night but 40s during the day.

Nothing to worry about but...

I don't sleep well at night for a number of reasons, I don't need an extra reason so I drained the system just so I wouldn't worry.

We do plan a few more weekends so no antifreeze until then but if life gets in the way I'm just a couple minutes away from full winterization now that it's drained.

Hi TCG,

Its due to get down to 28f here tonight in Mid Michigan.

In case it got down lower I went to the coach and set the furnace to 55F (It was 41f outside). The coach rose 10f and water bay rose 5f in temp in 2 hours and 440ah batteries were 97% SOC. I did have the water heater running on propane also and then turned it off.

This a good test as had not run the furnace on hot water heater running for more than an hour on propane since getting the coach in May. We were using the heat strip on the basement AC and electric hot water. Also have not had an opportunity to heavily load the new batteries so these 4 things are a great test.

I will go back in the morning and see how the batteries and temp is.

It was 27f at the coach this morning.

My 4 zone temp sensor system showed the below.

Inside 53f
Bedroom 48f
Water bay 53f
Pass through storage 40f.

Victron shows 91% SOC, voltage was 12.44, this was with a load on it. Propane had barely budged.

I think this was a succesful test.
