One more question for you all.
On my 2006 Golf Stream Cresendo it has a wireless remote for the door lock. The hand held unit has two buttons One which locks and unlocks the door and one that says option.
I have found the control unit under the dash.
It has lots of wires which are unused.
What I'm looking for is a wring diagram so I can use the option button to turn on lights in the coach when we return at night.
I do know that the option button works a relay in the control unit as I can here it click when I push the button.
There is no name of any sort on either unit as far as telling me the manufacture.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give

Bill

Bill, you are correct in that the control box operates relays from the fob. How many lights did you want to turn on? Are they on different switches in the coach?
You should be able to use a volt meter at the control box and find pairs of wires that will be hot (12+ volts) when you energize it by the fob. If you find that the pair is only hot while you are pressing the button then you will need to go through a latching relay controlled by the control box form the fob. This is most likely what you are going to find and the other button will energize another relay that will be used to unlatch the latching relay opening the circuit to the light.
Do you understand electricity and are you comfortable in working with it? If so and you want to design this circuit, let us know and we can help you out.

Bill

I don't see the Gulf Stream listed but here is a link to the company that makes the unit in my coach.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately that's not the unit I have.
I'm trying for the east way out with a manual. There's like 15 wires I'd have to trace
