wooden privacy door Fleetwood

I'm trying to replace the plastic doohickey that holds the two sliding privacy doors together on a fleetwood expedition. They are located between shower and bedroom. When you slide one half of the door the plastic thing on the bottom of the door grabs the second half and pulls it closed as well. Same on opening. But I can't figure how to remove the doors to replace plastic doohickey. Any ideas? Thx.

Remove the top trim to allow access tot he top of the doors and then you will see how to unlock the catch on the roller assembly and pull the post of the assembly out of the coupler screwed to the top of the door. Unlock the post by sliding the tab away and back on each post. slightly lift the door and slide the post out of the coupler and the door is free.

On my 2008 Expedition I get a step stool and on the top of the doors (2) plastic latches hold each door onto the tracks, unlatch them and slide the pins out of the metal slot on top of each door. I have zip tied each of these closed because the doors keep vibrating loose.

A pair of strong cabinet door magnets will also solve the problem.

Thanks to all those who posted, I was able to get doors off and make repairs. Now doors work smoothly and correctly.
