Smile Workhorse 8100 2003 power loss without fault codes

8100 Workhorse in 2003 Itasca Suncruiser with Banks Power pack since 52000 miles. Now 60000+. Experiencing dramatic power loss up hills towing auto. Slows and shifts down, then after full throttle for 30+ seconds suddenly accelerates. Can't find any fault codes on computer DTC's. Any experiences?

Fuel pump or fuel filter? Just a shot in the dark.

Try posting this in the Workhorse forum too.

If the Banks Power Pack is a modifier to your engine ECM... they disconnecting the Banks System and re-testing.. part of what some of the banks modification is to send erroneous information to the engine ECM to hide what the Banks System is doing... so you might have a code but the Banks System is covering that up and the engine ECM might not see it...
