While surfing the web I came across a engine enhancement module by a company called "Workhorse". They claim to enhance power and MPG without increasing fuel usage or exhaust gas temps (EGT's). Their claim is that they maximize atomization of fuel in the cylinder, without increasing pressure in the fuel rail.

I know just enough about how my Cummins works to be dangerous. I know that fuel+air= power. That also makes heat. Workhorse claims that no EGT gauges are needed because they don't add fuel. And this is all done by programing in the ECM. They also claim not to raise the pressure in the fuel rail. So how does the ECM control atomization without raising pressure?

They supposedly gurantee a mileage increase with their product, as well as HP gains. This sounds like the ultimate "magic" product. But I also know that most magic is smoke and mirrors. I little more research indicated that the company used to be called "Dr Performance", and was either bought out, or just went thru a name change.

Here is the Linkto the site.

Does anyone here have any knowledge of this company or product? I think is sells for $695 and is susposed to be plug and play. Kinda pricey if it doesn't work.

How about it guys, opinions??

All of my experiances with performance has tought me one thing for sure, there is no free lunch when it comes to HP. Fuel + O2 = HP. The more O2, the hairier it gets, simple as that.

It sounds like snake oil to me.
