I am about to replace the fuel pump on my 2002, W20 Chassis. The local workhorse mechanic says there is a pump mod that reduces the amount of hot fuel in the return line from being sucked into the pump intake. Apparently 2 small holes are drilled (somewhere?) to reduce this problem. Anybody heard of such mod and how is done?
Tnx, Bob

bob.o, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. Sorry I can't help you with the fuel pump issue but someone else here might. I do wonder if it is a fuel pump that has been modified and not that you can modify the on you presently have? Good luck and let us know the outcome. Take care and have fun.

I think I would want to check with Workhorse Customer Service before making any mods to the full system. If it is a factory approved mod, the replacement parts probably already have it. At the least, there will be a Technical Service Bulletin on the subject.
