Yikes!!!! Black Tank Spill (Emergency Procedure)

This poor guy yesterday pulled in, hooked up his sewer line and pulled the black tank.... Unknown to him, the park sewer was clogged and everything spilled all over the ground... This was soooooo discussing.

I rushed to get the RV park manager and he quickly poured a gallon of bleach on the spill along with hosing it down.

****BLEACH**** was the cure for odor and bacteria

I haven't witnessed anything like that yet...but I can feel for the guy. Might have taken two gallons.

It happened to me once at a KOA. They sent an old retired guy over who reached down in the sewer pipe with his bony arm and pulled out (you know what). He did not bother to use bleach or any disenfectant. He sprayed the area down with water, and left. Never again.
