Our 2 boys, ages 5 and 3 travel with us everywhere we go. They enjoy the motorhome as much as we do. My wife has made the argument for several years now saying that the need to build a motorhome designed by moms. I have to say I completely agree with her. Our first motorhome as was a 1996 Mirada. All outlets and the gen switch we're right at there level. Our new damon is much better but still would change a couple of things...one in particular ...a heavy duty screen door that they can not open when the main door is open.

You have to keep in mind the people that design and engineer our rigs generally don't camp or travel in them... First priority is cost of manufacture, second is ease of production.

So far I have been very pleased with the design of our 2005 Revolution....but.....

1. Ditto on the cup holders. The passenger side is well placed, but is too shallow and anything taller than a small coffee mug tends to tip over.

2. The driver's side has no cup holder at all.

3. The front center of the coach has no attractive console. It has a black "wall" under the dash radio. The American Coach's of that year had a very nice wood sidedview, and it would be really nice to have some driver storage in that area...maps, change, sunglasses...etc.

4. The switch for the patio awing is located high above the passenger seat. It is difficult if not near impossible to hold the switch to extend or retract the awning and watch it at the same time.

That is all that I can think of so far....These are small fixes and would not cost the manufacturer too much $$$.
