ZEP WAX ON Fiberglass roof

From previous posts I find that many have use this on their FG roofs.
Having cleaned roof and ready to apply wax. I see where label instructions say to use 1-2 coats of ZEP Floor Sealer first.
Is that a step that should be followed.
For those that have used ZEP wax and didn't use sealer on FG roof, any thoughts ??

I've read some of the other post on Zep application and don't remember that either.
Is your roof painted or just fiberglass. ( white)

Sealer is used to seal the pores in wood floors. You shouldn't need it

Roof is std TMH white un-painted FG.

Good on the sealer info. Saved a trip to HD and hour labor.

I applied the Zep Commercial Floor Wax to my fiberglass roof for the first time in June last year, got tired of the constant white streaks down the sides. Took me 2 days to completely clean the roof and then applied 2 coats of the was. In Oct washed roof again, took 1 hour to get it clean, and then applied 2 more coats of Zep. Today the roof still looks very clean so Zep is the way to go.

I did not apply a sealer since it was for fiberglass.

Yep, black on both ends and white in the middle. A really playful kitty.

I used it on my roof and am really pleased, just don't let any run down over the side. I did in a couple of places and had to use Zep stripper to remove it then rewax the side wall.

BTW, I put on 3 coats, one coat left to many streaks and I put on the third just for good measure.
