Can't help on the Zip valve extenders. I use steel braided on inside duals only. Have used on two motorhomes for some time with no problems.
I am a protect all fan. My MH is not full body paint but it works fine on the lower section which is paint. Also use on the cars. Apply a couple times a year and keeps MH and cars looking great. I use inside MH on dash, seats, windows countertops, sinks. Also around the house on kitchen counter and cabinets. I buy by the gallon and price is much better.

I too am a big Protect-All fan. Have used it for years on all types of surfaces, aluminum, fiberglass, paint (car & RV), chrome, stainless steel, formica, etc. and it has always performed well. My wife even uses it on the shower walls, both RV and the house.

Personally I would not use the extensions but the extended valves ... we had the braided ones on our truck and had one leak while on the interstate ... The extended valves replace the existing valves and extend out so they can be pressure checked ... As for Protect All, use it on just about every part of the outside ...

I have used Protect All on 3 different coaches now and really like the product. The coaches all looked like new when I traded them. Nothing could be easier to use than Protect All. I will say I do not think it last very long, but it so easy to use, one can do a coach often.

I've become a real fan of Protect All also. I don't think it lasts as long as many believe it does, but I used to use Meguires Wax and it didn't last any longer. But Protect All is so easy to use (if you don't get silly and use too much) and being a fulltimer, I use it at least once a week on one panel at a time so it probably takes a couple of months to do the whole MH.

I used Protect-All to "wax" my motorhome about a month ago. It is easy to apply and take off but, frankly, the shine was not as good or as long lasting as Nu-Finish. I just did the top of my motorhome (which is fiberglass) with Protect-All which cuts down on the black streaks down the sides. I haven't tried Protect-All in the shower but that sounds like a good tip. When I was in Walmart the other day, I noticed that Dupont has a liquid was with Teflon added which I may try the next time.
