I pulled our Blazer today for the first time and everything went well. The book said to remove the RDO fuse and on this forum , I read to pull fuse #11 & 19. When I restarted the engine, forgetting to put the fuses back in, I got the 'service engine soon'. Did I pull a fuse that I should'nt have? Every thing works fine now but the light is still on. Will it go off by itself eventualy?

Max, you will have to reset the "service engine" light. Try the reset proceedure in the owners manual first. If that does not work see if a Chevy dealer or home office can give you some insite. Good luck and let us know the cure. THanks

Hi Max,
I was wondering since the Remco reference page is down - is your 2000 Blazer an automatic? I have a 4 door 2x4 auto trans, and can't find anything to confirm if it can flat tow or not.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve n Dar, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here. I don't think the 2000 automatic transmission can be toad four flat without a lube pump or driveshaft diconnect. I toad a 95 S10 BLazer with manual transmission several years back. I just went to http://www.remcotowing.com/store/catalog/product_select...f2e9d91a6cbce82cf4fb
Not sure if a pump or diconnect must be installed.

Thanks for the info. Guess I'll stick to the original plan of setting up our Saturn SC2 as the toad. And it's a manual to boot...
