05 Liberty & 05 XL-7

I'm considering one of these two for a new toad and have a couple of questions.
1. The Jeep Liberty has a hump on the floor so how do you position the older version of the BrakeBuddy?
2. Is the Suzuki XL-7 really limited to a 55mph limit as shown in the 05 towing guide? What happens if you exceed this speed?

Would appreciate comments from those that own either of these.

Bob, We love the liberty,and have the Blue-Ox
braking system> I had to make a small support out of wood that was L shaped and sat on the drivers seat frame. This Is covered in carpet, and is held in place by the back handle, or push bar on the brake assest! Hope this helps, also have the Blue-OX tow bars and base plate.
Works good and lasts a long time, as we are very happy with this setup!! Tenn.Vol.

Thanks for the feedback. I have the old version of the BrakeBuddy that has a bar that goes across the back not a handle like yours. I took the BB to the Jeep dealer today and with a minor fix it will work. So we left the Saturn with him and drove home in a new Liberty today. Again thanks for the reply.
