I had a 2008 Dodge Dakota pickup in which I installed the Roadmaster Evenbrake system. The instructions were almost as bad as the vehicle so I took mine to a certified installer who said it was working as designed after installation. I left Montana and when I arrived in Las Vegas, which was the first time the toad was driven, the brakes were totally destroyed. I had to replace the rotors and pads on a vehicle with less than 2000 miles. I finally determined the toad brakes were applied every time I used the exhaust brake so on long down grades the toad brakes were on but the dash indicator didn't reflect this condition. Needless to say I trashed the Evenbrake and installed the M&G Brake system that I dearly love. It usually took me about 10 minutes to set up the Evenbrake but I can hook up my M&G system in about 5 seconds and it's fail safe and works perfectly. Good luck with your Evenbrake and the vague instructions.
