We had an 06 Terra, which is the same thing as the Fiesta, on a Ford chassis and had a brake controller installed. So, Yes, I'm sure an 08 model is all set up for one if our 06 was.

Thanks rmcobb, real quick question. Did they have to simply install the controller and then all the wiring from the controller to the 7 pin in the back was already done? I've called Ford and Fleetwood, both are telling me that it is an aftermarket addition, which is fine, Fleetwood made it sound like the RV is completely wired from front to back, you simply need to plug in a controller into a pre-existing plug under the right hand side of the steering column.

Anyone have any exp. with this?

brocja01, all of the wires should be there except the +12 VDC which for some reason Ford does not install for the MH chassis. So hopefully Fleetwood ran it.

I agree with grtharris. Everything should be there. I had mine installed by a Trailer Hitch place which just involved mounting the controller and connecting the wiring, which I'm thinking was pretty simple. If you take it to a shop that does this stuff, they should have no problem.
