Anyone towing a 08 GMC Acadia AWD SLT? Just wondering if it is towable 4 down?
Thanks!
Dan

According to the Motorhome Magazine Dinghy Towing Guide, the both the 2008 AWD and FWD Acadia are towable 4-down. As always, check the owners manual before buying any vehicle to be sure.

Yes it is. You will find towing instructions in the owner manual - need to pull a fuse to prevent battery run down.
We've towed our early 2007 Acadia all over the USA. It was the guinea pig for developing and testing the Blue Ox base plates for an Acadia, so ours was literally the pioneer Acadia flat tow.

We have towed our '08 AWD Acadia for two years. Works fine. We do pull the fuse.

Thanks again for everyones help. We ended up getting a 2007 Acadia AWD. The base plate was installed this week and we pick it up next weekend.

I have always towed a pickup but just started towing an Acadia 2wd, can't tell it's back there and it is a nice drive when you reach your destination.
I leave a key in the ingnition and lock it when towing and then when I open the door with another key it sounds the alarm, so I have to pull the fuse and the horn relay or wake everybody in the RV Park.
