I am looking for towing setups that can handle 15000 to 20000 pounds on Motor Homes. Looking to see what experienced rig setups are out there and specifically what type of equipment you have used or are using. - i.e. Ball Mounts, Balls, Pintle Set ups? This would mainly be focused around those rigs involving the largest Class A Motor Homes & Stacker Trailers.
If you do not want to post to this thread but would like to discuss - PLEASE P.M. me or Email me...
Thanks

What are you wanting to do?
American Coach is one of the few manufacturers with those types of tow ratings (15k). Remember, your ACTUAL tow rating is your GCWR minus the weight of the tow vehicle or the hitch capacity, which ever is less.

Newmar's Essex on Spartan K2 chassis and King Aire on Spartan K3 chassis are rated to tow 15k. If you are going to consistently pull that kind of weight (15k-20k) you might want to look at Renegade type motorhomes. They can tow up to 30k.

I have a friend who tows a stacker trailer behind a Prevost conversion, and I think it has has a pintle hitch. Given this, I think the hitch type will be dictated by manufactures of 15,000 - 20,000 lb trailers. Maybe Google some of these manufacturers of to see what they specify
