To all 1999-2001 CR-V owners; there is a problem with the valves wherin the valves can recede into and damage the cylinder head. Honda now recommends a valve adjustment at 30,000 miles, vice 105,000 miles as stated in the Owners Manual. Honda does not notify owners of the requirement, even on visits to a Honda repair facility for other work. Cost to fix the problem runs about $4000.
