Actually, I used to used a disconnect on the battery and yes shifter in park. Recently added a direct top up the battery supply from the coach chassis system. So I don't have to pop the hood each hook up. My rover manual said under the front seat and thst seemed tediius each trip.....thebritinwa@gmail.com..
I use the ready brute system that is a direct mechanical connection via a ss aircraft grade wire to the brake pedal. 5 minutes max, hooked and gone....cheers.

Oh and key in position 1. Loose steering wheel. I turn my back up camera on to tell me its back there. Sometimes I forget, its age related, lol.

Which LR do you have? My '03 discovery does not require fuse removal, but I know some of the RR do.

I meant the question for the OP, but I was glad to hear more about your Landy! It's definitely a love/hate relationship with Discoveries.....but I'm loving mine for the time being. : )

Well, they make a great toad.

If you haven't already, check out landroverforums.com for info on the 3 amigos. There's a sticky in the Discovery forum that provides a fairly simple fix for the 3 amigos (at least for one of the common causes). It worked on the disco I had before this one.
