Your Mountaineer is not on MOTORHOME MAGAZINE'S list of towable vehicles.

Most likely it is not towable 4 down or on a 2 wheel dolly because it is AWD.

Check with REMCO TOWING, as they may be able to help.

I have a 2007 Explorer and the dealer had to install a tow switch which disconnects the drive line and allows you to tow 4 down.

I don't believe the Neutral Tow Switch is applicable to the Mountaineer, but the dealer service department can confirm that.
