I sometimes tow a 2003 Honda Civic EX automatic.

There are many that tow the 2003 Honda Accord.

For both you have to follow Honda's simple pre-tow procedure every morning before towing.

I tow a 2003 Acura 3.2 TL Type S with an auto trans. I'm pretty sure they are built with pretty much the same drivetrains. If anything, I think the Acura's 5 speed auto is more fragile than the Honda's (4 or 5 speed?), from what I've heard. I've been towing mine 4 down for about a year now, and I've had no problems. As Tom N said, just follow the procedures and you should be fine.
