2003 PT cruiser

Hi, I just purchased above vehicle to be my toad and was wondering if others have used such. According to the Blue Ox site some mods will have to be done to the front end of the car. Are there other options available that will allow for fewer mods (cutting, removing) of the front end.

Do you tow a pt cruiser if so sound off tell me what you use and how hard was it to install.

We've used the daughters 2003 PT Touring Cruiser as a toad. First we had it on a dolly. This can be difficult because of the fittings at the top of the shocks/struts. Very tight and cut the straps.

We then installed the BlueOx tow plate and it is almost not visible. Yes, you may have to remove the "front bumper" to install but everything went back on. There are two pins that can be removed (they twist in/out).

Now we tow our BMW and the pins and safety hooks are not seen unless you look hard at the front end.

Have you looked at the pictures in the installation guides of BlueOX? The pictures should show you the minor modification to the cruiser.

I hope your PTC is a stick/manual transmission because if not you will need to find a solution for that. We used REMCO's transmission solution.
